To use our climbing facilities unsupervised, you must be a competent roped climber. We will run a competency check during your registration to ensure that you are able to use our facilities safely.

Take on ROKTFACE – the UK’s highest man-made outdoor climbing wall. Set over the road from the main building (next to our pub), ROKTFACE is taller than both the Angel of the North and the Tower of London. It offers outdoor lead or top-roping with instructors on routes of 28m and 36m. For more see www.roktface.co.uk
Our 21-metre lead wall is the tallest in Yorkshire. It offers slab, vertical and overhanging routes with half-height anchors available for climbers not wishing to go to the top. Routes range from F5+ to 8b+
Our four individual former grain silos are 16-metres tall and are set with routes ranging from F3 to 8a. Each silo can hold up to three climbing pairs at a time, a step ahead from the busy, open plan climbing wall.
